I cannot say enough how much I love my barn! The craftsmanship is remarkable down to the smallest detail, and there are numerous, thoughtful touches that I would never have thought to request, but which make the barn even more beautiful. We have met a number of new friends since we bought our farm, some of whom also happen to be barn builders. They admit that, had they built the barn, they would not have taken the time to build it that nicely. One new friend commented that it is the prettiest new barn he has ever seen.
Not only is the barn special, but even more so are the workers who built it. In the past few years our house has needed a lot of work and so we have had many workers come and go to fix this and that. The men at Precise Buildings top the list as far as reliability, dependability and quality craftsmanship. If they were scheduled to work, they were there! They arrived early each day (usually before I got out of bed) and worked hard until the job was done. The day could not get too hot or too windy or too rainy for them. They were always there! It is rare these days to find workers like these men.
I truly feel blessed to have had the men at Precise Buildings build my barn.

Ben and John Fisher met with me several times over the year and a half that I was trying to decide just how much work I wanted done and what I could afford. In July of 2005, I first met John Fisher, owner of Precise Buildings, to discuss building a new barn and indoor dressage arena. During our meeting, I was impressed by John's commitment to quality and his willingness to listen carefully to my ideas for my "dream barn." I was also impressed by John's "can do" attitude towards the project and his very optimistic goal of starting the barn on January 1st. Honestly; I figured we'd be lucky to start the project by March. But John and his crew planned carefully and, watching the weather, we managed to get all the necessary work completed before a major freeze, and sure enough, the first hard-working building crew arrived on January 2nd! Throughout the months that followed, John and his brother Ben were on-site regularly, supervising the crews, meeting with me, and managing every detail of the construction process. I thought I'd considered every detail of my barn, but John, Ben, and their crew of carpenters called my attention to many little things I'd never thought of. Through their experience building barns for horses, they helped me make many excellent improvements to my barn plans and prevented some design mistakes, too.
Precise Buildings, LLC simply didn't settle for anything that wasn't done "precisely" as it should be. I think their name says it all, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to build a barn that's built to last!

Dear John,
It has been a little over 3 years since you and your crew built our barn. That was a piece of good fortune for us and, although it is small by your typical standards, it is exactly what we wanted.
We have 3 large (each approximately 12x12) stalls, a heated tack room with a bathroom, a wash stall with hot water, a feed room, an equipment stall, and a full loft. When we started this project, we had intended on building only a heated tack room and a wash stall, but the cost made the larger facility easy to happen.
Not only is it beautiful and very functional, but the craftsmanship is exceptional. In fact it is so well built and attractive that we had a lot of compliments on it right from the start. And they continue to pour in when new people visit the farm. the solid construction is a topic of conversation to be sure, but the amenities draw compliments as well. Take for instance how the entire main level is finished in tongue-in-groove wood planking, (including the stalls, the aisles, the wash stall, and the tack room). People always comment on how such work is a financial asset, but we are quick to point out that it is also functional in that it is easier to keep clean. It is also very lovely.
We have you, your family, and your professional and hard-working crew to thank. We look forward to working with you again on one of our next projects.

When we bought our new farm in 2003, we checked with many barn builders before settling with Precise Buildings. I can honestly say, I am glad we made the right choice. John Fisher, and his Precise Buildings crew were easy to work with. Their workmanship was outstanding, keeping to a prompt schedule building barns and run-in sheds, that anyone would be proud of.
